It was truly a joy to host Phillip & Megan’s beautiful wedding at Sanders Estate. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, they exchanged vows in a heartfelt ceremony and joyfully celebrated the beginning of their next chapter together. Located just 35 minutes from Seattle, Sanders Estate provided the perfect garden setting, with a serene pond, rolling lawns, and freshly blooming flowers creating a picturesque backdrop for their day.
Guests were treated to a selection of thoughtfully crafted, tray-passed appetizers that blended fresh, vibrant flavors with elegant presentation. Bites included smoked salmon served on honeydew canapés with mojito mascarpone, savory bulgogi beef lettuce wraps with house-pickled vegetables and gochujang aioli, and warm flatbreads topped with basil pesto, ripe tomatoes, prosciutto, peppery arugula, and delicate Parmesan curls.
Guests enjoyed a beautifully curated menu featuring a blackberry and champagne vinaigrette tossed with delicate greens, local chèvre, and vanilla-chipotle spiced pecans, alongside artisan breads served with herb-infused olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The meal continued with herb-crusted chicken breast paired with roasted grapes, caramelized shallots, and a rich Madeira pan sauce, as well as cognac-flambéed wild mushroom risotto finished with fresh thyme and Parmesan curls. Additional offerings included grilled flat steak with Blue Ribbon’s signature brandied fig sauce, roasted garlic buttery mashed potatoes, linguini pasta in a truffle-scented cream sauce, charred broccoli, and roasted carrots, creating a flavorful and well-balanced dining experience for guests to enjoy.
