KNIFE SKILLS Class

Mastering basic knife techniques is the key to boosting your confidence in the kitchen. Join us for an evening of hands-on practice and step-by-step instruction on how to use a knife safely and efficiently. We’ll take you from mincing herbs to cutting a whole chicken into manageable pieces.
This is a concentrated skills class, with a focus on practicing proper knife use. Various ingredients will be covered, each introducing new skills or techniques—often with several different cuts per ingredient. The ingredients will culminate in a bounty from which the chefs will prepare several recipes, resulting in a delicious feast to enjoy at the end of class—all from the effort of your knife skills practice.
Bring whatever chef knives you use regularly, no matter how simple or sophisticated they may be. We’ll have plenty of extra chef knives on-hand for anyone to use.
Rate: $150 per person (price is for one registration)
