It was an honor to host American Seafoods at Block 41 for their annual holiday party. The space felt like stepping into a modern New York loft, styled with elegant black-and-white details throughout. Twinkling lights, contemporary design accents, and delicious cuisine transformed the venue into a winter wonderland, creating a festive and memorable evening for guests.
Guests were welcomed with a glass of bubbly and then treated to a trio of savory tray passed appetizers including our baked triple cream brie tarts with orange-cranberry chutney and walnut crumb, wild Alaskan pollock fish & chip bites with homemade tarter sauce, creamy chipotle tomato bisque shooters with mini grilled cheese bites. The sips continued with a White Holiday Martini, Holiday White Russian, PNW Espresso Martini, and Classic Old Fashion made with Black Rock Candy for a fun twist!
For dinner, the plated dinner include a welcome course of winter greens with goat cheese, vanilla-chipotle spiced pecans, and French baguette with whipped European butter. The menu featured cedar plank salmon with cranberry-apple chutney and candied ginger, braised boneless beef short rib with marchand de vin, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, and marmalade-glazed heirloom carrots.
Dessert offerings included apothecary jars filled with black and white candies, individual Oreo cookie trifles, black and white chocolate–dipped strawberries, white French macarons, black and white pretzel rods, a variety of mini black and white cupcakes, white chocolate pretzels, hand-dipped Oreos, and cold brew topped with white powdered donut skewers.
After a beautiful evening program, late-night snacks were served, including fried chicken and waffle sliders and a build-your-own nacho station with a selection of tasty toppings. Cheers to an incredible evening — our team was honored to be part of the celebration!
