We were delighted to host SEIU’s holiday party in Seattle! As you stepped into Block 41, you were transported back to the 80’s and 90’s with bright neon lights, retro details, and playful nods that made every corner feel like a blast from the past.
Guests enjoyed a retro, neon-inspired celebration filled with bold colors, custom artwork, interactive entertainment, glowing signature cocktails, and a delicious feast — including a full buffet and our Throwback Snack Bar featuring favorites like 1990’s-style mac ’n’ cheese, homemade hot pockets, and sloppy joe sliders. Our Mashed Potato Martinis offered a playful twist on a comfort classic, finished with nostalgic toppings from the 1990’s and early 2000’s.
The buffet menu featured tender boneless braised beef short rib in a rich red wine reduction, classic chicken Parmesan topped with melted fresh mozzarella and heirloom tomato basil sauce, and a creamy rosemary polenta paired with Sicilian eggplant caponata, golden raisins, and toasted pine nuts. Guests were also treated to a chef-attendee pasta station!
The décor brought everyone’s favorite throwback moments to life. The bar featured custom graffiti artwork that fully immersed guests in the theme, while playful 90’s-inspired accessories added an extra layer of fun throughout the night. With glowing lights, bold décor, and nostalgic details around every corner, the celebration sparkled from start to finish.
